To Tempt a Seal by Sara Jane Stone is a beautiful story of how circumstances can shape a person's life. Lucia and Cade have been hurt in different ways and are searching for the person to help them heal. They recognize in each other a kindred spirit. Lucia captured my heart with her childlike vulnerability due to events that left her mentally and physically scarred. Scarred, scared and insecure. Despite it all her inner beauty shone through regardless outer flaws. Cade's pain was more hidden but no less acute. As they work through their issues together they start to find acceptance and stability in each other.
Received an ARC of this book for an honest review. A sensually satisfying read that will break your heart and have you believing in fairy tales.
