I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. An intense story about two people, that are not happy with the direction their lives have taken. Rose is tired of languishing in the background and wants to break free. Caden is tired of all the responsibilities that have been heaped on his shoulders for years-but bad decisions have led him down a dark path. This is a book about two broken people looking for redemption and a light at the end of a dark tunnel. Was not feeling the first person narration of this story. The story itself was good but too long and wordy in some areas. Overall, an enjoyable read.
