A fun, sexy surprise. Drama within a drama. Red Carpet Kiss is not your average love story. Set in the backdrop of show biz, it's anything but ordinary. The world of fame, television and make believe adds an element of mystique. Add in a highly rated television series and a love triangle between the show's writer (Elle), star (Luke) and a former love (Troy) and sparks definitely fly. This is my first time reading Melissa Brown but it will not be the last. Red Carpet Kiss is sexy, funny and addictive. Received an ARC for an honest review.

Searching for Always (Searching For #4) by Jennifer Probst

Searching For Always by Jennifer Probst introduced me to both a new author and a new series. Ms. Probst crafted a novel that is unique, touching, entertaining and well worth the time to read. The premise of a matchmaking service that hints at a mystical element and is run by three very different women is not your ordinary romantic read. Add to that each finding their soul mate and the story becomes more interesting. Searching for Always is Arilyn and Stone's tale. Insecure after a recent heartbreak Arilyn is wondering when her prince will come. Stone has pent up anger and pain that he has yet to deal with from his past. What can a yoga instructor do gooder and a grumpy police officer possibly have in common? Read the book to find out. After reading Searching for Always I am going to surely read the rest of this series. Received an ARC for an honest review.

RaeAnne Thayne always writes stories that are packed full of emotion. Coming to terms with change is never easy. Ms Thayne has crafted a story of unity, healing, transition, forgiveness and understanding. Redemption Bay is a story about moving on, letting go and finding strength in moments of weakness. I enjoyed reading this book.

Bridesmaid Blues is immensely entertaining. I laughed so hard that I cried. It was so obvious to me that Dani and Jamie still had unresolved feelings for each other. To Tempt a Seal by Sara Jane Stone is a beautiful story of how circumstances can shape a person's life. Lucia and Cade have been hurt in different ways and are searching for the person to help them heal. They recognize in each other a kindred spirit. Lucia captured my heart with her childlike vulnerability due to events that left her mentally and physically scarred. Scarred, scared and insecure. Despite it all her inner beauty shone through regardless outer flaws. Cade's pain was more hidden but no less acute. As they work through their issues together they start to find acceptance and stability in each other.
Received an ARC of this book for an honest review. A sensually satisfying read that will break your heart and have you believing in fairy tales.

Once Upon a Cowboy proved to be a heartbreaking story. It was also an uplifting story. All the pain and shame that Jessalyn experienced in her younger years shaped who she grew up to be. Wary of men and relationships and ashamed of her life. Cole has his own issues with self identity, family dynamics and his place in the world. These two damaged people managed to bring out the best in each other.

I enjoy visiting Seashell Bay. Each story has a small town close knit community feel. Summer at the Shore is book 2 in the series and tells Morgan and Ryan's story. Each main characters is struggling with life-altering decisions. Morgan has returned home to take care of her sister and run the family business. Ryan is at a crossroads trying to find something that gives him purpose. As they find their footing in a familiar environment they are faced with new obstacles, choices and situations. A cute read about the power of love. In The Spinster’s Bed by Sally Mackenzie is a beautiful story filled with forgiveness, second chances and a hint of divine intervention. Wrapped in the blush of young love neither Belle or William expected things to end the way they did. Twenty years later each is still haunted by memories and what ifs. Belle is a character that can break your heart. Through her strength and courage she was determined not be a victim but make the best of what life had given her. William never felt good enough and always felt like he had to prove his worth. Are Belle and William destined to reunite only to lose each other again? I did not want to end. Lauren Blakely, this is really good. I started reading Sweet Sinful Nights and had to force myself to put it down and go to sleep. The next morning I picked up right where I left off. Sweet Sinful Nights is a story of prideful mistakes, secrets, anger, pain and second chances. I loved how Brent did whatever it took to get Shannon to hear him out. Would love a guy who would be willing to humble himself and admit he was wrong. Lauren Blakely, I loved your book and am sure others will too.

A fitting end to an adventurous series. Vanessa Kelly went big. How to Marry a Royal Highlander is full of action, suspense and romance. I enjoyed Alec and Edie. These characters kept me on my toes. Every page was a pleasant surprise. Edie and Alec's love story is a chaotic yet endearing journey through the unknown. My favorite thing about this story is that despite everything that these characters endured they never
gave up on each other. For me that makes How to Marry a Royal Highlander an A+

The Unexpected Heroes series is another Melody Anne winner. Have already read Her Unexpected Hero (Jackson and Alyssa). Spence and Sage's story is even better. With Her Hometown Hero Ms. Anne takes a reader through the journey of two doctors as they reconnect and discover something special. Along the way they endure matchmaking friends and family, insecurities and career obstacles. Sage is a smart person that has allowed life experiences to past her by. Spence has a large capacity for love but is scared to pursue a chance at happiness. Like every story there are moments that make you smile and others that break your heart. However, the true test of an exceptional read is that it leaves you wanting more. This book and series does just that. Received an ARC for an honest review.
