Kelly Hunter's story of unrequited love, low self esteem and being true to yourself is a winner in my book. Dawn is one of those characters that you think you have figured out but as you dig deeper you discover that you weren't even close. Finn comes across as an easygoing guy but he has hidden layers as well. My favorite kind of story is a book that deals with serious problems and subjects but not in an overly preachy way. Zelda was a complex character. From the outside looking in she had it all. Yet despite the luxuries of growing up with money, she was dealing with issues of abandonment. She projected a devil may care attitude but had deep scars to work through. Tyrone was quick to judge her. As he got to know her he started to realize that she was a deeply troubled person. Tempting the Knight is a story that captures the imagination and steals the heart. I received an ARC for an honest review. Very emotional read.

Have always loved the story of Beauty and the Beast. Lucy King gives it a modern day spin in Taming the Beast. A broken man, a determined woman. Seb has closed himself off emotionally. Having experienced the pain of loss he doesn't want to go through that again. Mercy finds Seb intriguing and frustrating. As Seb and Mercy journey through guilt, pain, misunderstandings and prejudgments they start to gain a better understanding of one another. My favorite book of this series so far. Seduced by the Baron is the final book in the Fairy Tales of New York series. Feeling trapped Faith daydreams of a different life for herself. She longs to follow her dream of becoming an artist and finding the type of happiness and love that her friends have. Raf may just be the distraction she needs. Can she step away from her responsibilities and paint her own happily ever after with a little help from her friends. I have really enjoyed reading this entire series. Intriguing women, hot men and fantastic fairytales. A winner all the way. Received an ARc of Seduced by the Baron for an honest review.
