Newborn on Her Doorstep is an adorable story. Ellie Darkins has written a story of healing, hope and emotion that leaves the reader captivated. Each character own a little piece of my heart at the first page and steadily stole more and more throughout the story. Lily has dreamed of a family ever since hers was broken apart by tragedy at a young age. Nic is left reeling from a heartbreaking event that has shaped who he has become. My heart hurt for these two people. Rose proves to be their saving grace. Baby Rose helps Nic confront his past and helps make all of Lily's dreams come true. I received an ARC of Newborn on Her Doorstep in exchange for an honest review. Always love discovering new authors and Ms. Darkins is a great one.

Cathy Gillen Thacker has written an alluring story that is emotional and sweet. Lone Star Baby is the story of two doctors that are faced with the surprising task of becoming the guardians of an orphaned newborn. What I liked about the story is that Baby Ava's arrival caused Violet and Gavin to take hard looks at their life and examine choices they had made and events experienced. Maybe life has a bigger plan for the both of them. Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Liked the story but it was lacking something. Did not enjoy it as much as her previous novels.

Mel is sexy, independent and fearless.  Wyn is hot, brash and a take charge kind of guy.  Never have two people seemed so perfect for each other.  Now if they could just figure that out for themselves.  I received an ARC of Stripped Down by Lorelai James in exchange for an honest review.  Steamy characters take on serious subjects with courage and grace.  Lorelai James wrote an amazing story of strength.  I am impressed and look forward to her next read.

I was drawn in to this dark tale of revenge, redemption and love. The Highwayman is a twisted story of greed, kidnapping, mistaken identities and the power of friendship and the strength of love. Kerrigan Byrne has crafted a saga that is full of surprises, captivating coincidences all centered around an emotional relationship between two childhood friends. Farrah was the key to solving the mystery within this story. At times the story got a little confusing but sticking it out proved to be a wonderful reward . Historical romance is really starting to come into it's own. I have always thought of it as characters meet fall in love and live happily ever after. But a new crop of authors is giving their own spin to the fairy tale. Sabrina York is the latest author that I have discovered making this genre her own. Mixing action, romance and well written characters she kept me interested until the book was done. Hannah is a lass that knows who she is and is not afraid to let that shine through. Alexander is every inch the tormented hero with the weight of the world on his shoulders. Hannah and the Highlander is a story full of spirit, triumph and adventure. The story speaks for itself. Ms. Burns took a simple tale of lack of trust, secrets and uncertainties and turned it into an engagingly sensual story of love and devotion.
