SYNOPSIS

DEEPER THAN ANY OCEAN...

All Holly Tyler wants is a fantastic career, a not-too-committed relationship, and a city where there are no painful memories. Instead, she's called back to her hometown of Seashell Bay to help with her family's struggling general store. It's a town where everyone knows everyone, and where one man could sink Holly's careful plans.

Deputy Sheriff Micah Lancaster has wanted Holly for as long as he can remember. He knows she has a life on the mainland—and a boyfriend—and that there's no real future with her. But now Holly is back and the attraction still flickers between them, a promise of something more. Their desire is stronger than any undertow . . . and once it pulls them under, it won't let go.

REVIEW:  SEE YOU AT SUNSET (SEASHELL BAY) BY V.K. SYKES

See You at Sunset (Seashell Bay, #3)See You at Sunset by V.K. Sykes

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holly is a dreamer. She sees her life as she wants it to be, because she's too afraid to face what it is. Micah has a few dreams of his own and they all include Holly as the star. Holly is his dream come true but he has to convince her that he can be hers too. Micah is the perfect fantasy. He saw Holly without blinders, flaws and all--BUT loved her anyway. That is the perfect guy. What made him extraordinary was his determination to show her how special she was. I received an ARC of See You at Sunset by V.K. Sykes in exchange for an honest review. Micah loved Holly enough to show her how to love herself. That is what I found so beautiful about this read.

MEET ME AT THE BEACH (SEASHELL BAY) BY V.K. SYKES

SYNOPSIS

YOU CAN'T STOP A RISING TIDE

When Lily Doyle spots her high school crush Aiden Flynn on the inbound ferry, she knows trouble is about to dock in Seashell Bay. And not just because he's more handsome than ever. If Aiden's in town, the rumors must be true about his family's plan to sell their coastal land to the highest bidder. But Lily will do whatever it takes to convince the hottest guy on the beach to protect their idyllic island home.

Gorgeous Lily Doyle was the only thing Aiden missed after he escaped from his hometown to play pro baseball. Now all Aiden wants is to wrap up the business deal and get back to his life, not relive a past that still haunts him. But as memories rush in about the night of passion he and Lily shared long ago, everything else washes right out to sea—everything except the desire that still burns between them.

Lily and Aiden were each others first loves. They drifted apart. Life got in the way. When Aiden and Lily unexpectedly meet again the sparks are still there. What happens next is anyone's guess. I loved this book. The characters held my attention throughout the book. Did not want the story to end. Excellent read. Was gifted an ARC of Meet Me at the Beach for an honest review.

SUMMER AT THE SHORE (SEASHELL BAY) BY V.K. SYKES

SYNOPSIS

JUST A SUMMER FLING?

Morgan Merrifield sacrificed her teaching career to try to save her family's bed-and-breakfast and care for her younger sister. She can't let herself get distracted by Ryan Butler. After all, the rugged ex-Special Forces soldier is only in Seashell Bay for the summer. But her longtime crush soon flares into real desire—and with one irresistible kiss, she's swept away.

Ryan values his freedom. As much as he wants Morgan, he's not ready to settle down with anyone, much less in sleepy Seashell Bay. But his code of honor doesn't allow him to leave a woman in distress—and she's in desperate need of help to fix the inn. It only takes one day working under the same roof and Ryan is already hoping for a lifetime of hot summer nights...

REVIEW: SUMMER AT THE SHORE (SEASHELL BAY) BY V.K. SYKES

Summer at the Shore (Seashell Bay)Summer at the Shore by V.K. Sykes

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I enjoy visiting Seashell Bay. Each story has a small town close knit community feel. Summer at the Shore is book 2 in the series and tells Morgan and Ryan's story. Each main characters is struggling with life-altering decisions. Morgan has returned home to take care of her sister and run the family business. Ryan is at a crossroads trying to find something that gives him purpose. As they find their footing in a familiar environment they are faced with new obstacles, choices and situations. The paths taken can make the difference between happiness together or misery apart. A compelling read. Received an ARC for an honest review.
