True North
I received a copy from the Author in return for an honest review…A person is not the sum of their mistakes but the lessons that are learned from them. True North is a love story that is built on misconceptions and new beginnings. Alexa has been hurt so much in her life that she blames herself for circumstances that were not her fault. Her personal experiences have colored her viewpoint of the world around her and made her mistrustful and biased in ways that were not part of her character before. Surprisingly it takes a stranger to show her the error of her ways and mend her broken soul. The meat of this story is the relationship that develops between Alexa and Zane but the lesson of the story is that the lessons we learn as we travel life's highway, impact not just the way we see ourselves but the way we view others. A genuinely sweet story.
