Olivia has big dreams but a dwindling bank account. She needs a job, Garrett needs an assistant. What could possibly go wrong? The New Year's Wish is a story about trying something new, taking a chance on love and finding out the capabilities you have within. These two people were different in that Garrett knew the importance of responsibilities, Olivia needed to learn how to be responsible. Olivia's heart was her compass and Garrett was less of a dreamer and more of a realist. I enjoy reading stories where the character's learn and become better because of new influences within their lives. I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review. The New Year's Wish by Dani-Lyn Alexander is a cute story that is encouraging and brief. Less is more in this case.
