Loving Gigi
I am in love. Loving Gigi is a beautiful story of acceptance, family and love. Each and every time I read a book written by Ruth Cardello I am reminded why she is one of my favorite authors. The drama, emotion and heart she puts into each story is evident on every page. This story reminded me a lot of Alethea’s story. Ironic isn’t it that my favorite book from the Legacy Series is Alethea’s. But indeed it is. Gigi and Alethea are kindred spirits and have experienced the same emotional turmoil of loneliness and not having a place to belong. So I found it interesting that she was the first one to
reach out to Gigi. Kane was everything I expected him to be and
more. Sometimes he came across ambitious and arrogant, but he had a good heart. Kane always protected the things and people he cared most about. Gigi stole my heart from the very first page. Her yearning to finally have the family she always craved broke my heart. I just wanted to hug her and tell her everything would work out fine. I received Loving Gigi for an honest review. On a scale of 1-5, I
would give it a 10. Am adding to my list of favorites to be read again.
