It's not that Sofie is unlikable, she perceives herself to be unlovable so she has erected a wall that serves as her defense against hurt and disappointment. She plays her part well. Maybe too well. Trevor is intrigued by the mysterious beauty and senses deep emotion hiding behind the icy facade. I received an ARC of Until I'm Yours by Kennedy Ryan in exchange for an honest review. With all that Sofie kept locked away it's surprising she didn't fall apart sooner. I don't say this often because I hate women being portrayed as the weaker sex BUT I am so glad she had someone who was willing to risk it all for her. Trevor was the white knight Sofie needed in her corner. I have read all four books in the Bennett series and from experience know that this is the one author that I read whose stories are so purely raw that I cry without even noticing the tears. That is powerful storytelling.
