THE ROGUE'S WAGER (SINFUL BRIDES) BY CHRISTIE CALDWELL
Release Date: October 25, 2016
SYNOPSIS
London, 1821
Lord Robert Dennington, the Marquess of Westfield, has long reveled in the freedom afforded him as the ducal heir. He knows he must someday do right by the Somerset line, but he’s in no hurry to give up his carefree existence.
Helena Banbury is a bookkeeper in a gentleman’s gambling club, adept at analyzing numbers and accounts but helpless for lack of influence. She’s never belonged among the nobility on the gaming hell floors, but neither does she feel completely herself among the men who run the Hell and Sin Club, despite the fact that they are family. The once-illiterate girl from the streets wants more than the gilded walls her protective cage can offer.
When Robert mistakenly enters her chambers one night, Helena is forced out of her predictable life and thrust into the glittering world of Society. Will the charms of the marquess prove more perilous than any danger she ever knew on the streets?

REVIEW: THE ROGUE'S WAGER (SINFUL BRIDES) BY CHRISTIE CALDWELL
The Rogue's Wager by Christi Caldwell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The true hero of The Rogue's Wager is Helena. She's spent her young life being passed over, underestimated and treated like a chore rather than a human being. She could have given up but her thirst to be more than an afterthought helped her rise and become the woman she was meant to be. Christi Caldwell delivers inspiring stories of courage and hope. Her female characters are balls of fire. They may dress in rags or be found wanting by others but pureness of heart is what drives them. We need more women like Helena in the world.

WE'RE GOING TO MAKE IT (KINDLE WORLDS: SAPPHIRE FALLS) BY PJ FIALA
Release Date: October 25, 2016
SYNOPSIS
In the security business things can happen fast – the same is true in the business of love.
Levi Jacobson spent 25 years serving his country in the Army. Overdue bills and no prospects force her to accept a job in Sapphire Falls for a man who is sexist, obnoxious and terribly attractive.

ARC Review: We're Going to Make It by PJ Fiala
Sage and Levi are cut from the same mold. When the going gets tough, the tough get stronger. A motto these Army vets live by. Yet could their strong personalities be their biggest weakness? In Levi's case: YES. When you go into a story conflicted about the hero, all you can do is hope for the best. Levi was arrogant, opinionated and infuriating but his antics got my attention. He was a character that I loved to hate but couldn't get enough of. Sage never felt comfortable in her own skin until she left home and joined the Army. An overachiever, she fit right in until life interfered and brought her home to face the insecurities she left behind. We're Going to Make It brings fire to Sapphire Falls. With two intense people and a ton of baggage things about to turn up in this small town. Passionately good.

ARC Review: Going the Extra Mile by Katy Alexander
The pathway to adulthood is littered with the blunders of youth, but the knowledge gained along the way is worth the price we have to pay. Abby's journey helped her to become self - reliant, gave her the focus she needed in her quest for success but it showed her the pain of heartbreak and shame at one of the hardest moments in her life. Going the Extra Mile delivers a story that is full of laughs and love, but also has an inspiring message of courage and inner strength. The playful banter between Abby and Mike was the initial selling point for me. However, it wasn't long before the atmosphere of Sapphire Falls reeled me in again with the quirky but kind citizens and the sense of coming home. Ms. Alexander, definitely traveled the extra mile to remind readers why it's so easy to fall in love with Sapphire Falls.

REVIEW: TAKING CHARGE (LONE STAR BURN) BY RUTH CARDELLO
Taking Charge by Ruth Cardello
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Taking Charge delivers. One of the main reasons I have become addicted to the Lone Star Burn series is the small town feel, mixed with big city problems. Each story has it's own way of making you laugh and cry but also getting to the heart of the matter with humility, wisdom and a whole lot heat. Lucy has a great deal of heart but a lack of trust and an abundance of guilt. Every child dreams of making their parents proud and having success come their way but shame and sorrow have become constant companions for this young woman. Determined to prove to herself she can, she sets out to save the family business and ends up getting more than she bargained for. A helping hand, guardian and just maybe the man of her dreams. Sometimes pride can be a person's worse enemy. Taking Charge uses humour and irresistibility to drive that point home.

Going Toe to Mistletoe by Rachelle Ayala
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Sapphire Falls is a homey little town with some interesting people. The big draw for me is that Erin Nicholas created a place from love and that feeling permeates every author and character that comes through it. Rachelle Ayala knows how to have fun. With Going Toe to Mistletoe she manages to blend her trademark whimsy with heartwarming sentiment. Troy is Mr. Lonely Hearts. His talent for helping the lovelorn is legendary in his neck of the woods, but the fruits of his labor haven't done him any good. Enter Candi, fed up with love and down on her luck. A small town Christmas wedding could open the door to the chance at romance both are looking for. Tis the season to melt the heart and Ms. Ayala is off to a beautiful and entertaining start.
