Saved by the Firefighter
ARC Review: Saved by the Firefighter (Templeton Cove) by Rachel BrimbleMs. Brimble is stellar at getting the emotional juices flowing. With Izzy and Trent she provides a front row seat to Izzy's struggle with grief and Trent's battle with guilt. In my opinion Saved by the Firefighter was more of a redemption story than a romance. The connection between Trent and Izzy seemed more like a friendship gone wrong than two people fighting an attraction. For that reason I was not a fan of the attempted romance. I gravitated to the emotional aspect of the characters and that delivered in spades.
