Water of Life

Water of Life - Jennifer Bramseth Bourbon Springs is a series I will look back on with fond memories. It was my introduction to an author that blends wise words and coming of age storytelling with relatable main characters and emotive tales. It's hard to say goodbye to what in my opinion is a profound body of work, but it's time to move on. So isn't it fitting that Ms. Bramseth centered the final story in this series around that very message.

Cara has obtained much in her life. She has managed to carve out a great career for herself while finding love and starting a family. When tragedy bursts into her life, Cara loses more than just her soulmate, she loses pieces of herself along the way. What's a widowed single parent to do but pick up the pieces and try to keep going? As so often happens moving on requires some touch choices and surprising twists. The toughest decision of all becomes if she's ready to leave behind the memories of the past, in order to take a chance on a flesh and blood future. The one constant in life is change I'm ready to get to experience more wonderful characters and life lessons with Jennifer Bramseth. Water of Life is the end of something special but the beginning of something wonderful.
