Release Date:  November 15, 2016

SYNOPSIS

When super-wealthy father of seven Colin Brannigan dies and leaves each of his sons a bequest, Knox Brannigan believes he scored big and best with his legacy—a vintage Indian motorcycle. He’s made a life out of rebelling against his father’s focus on high-powered business and high-powered people, but this time Knox follows the old man’s edict and takes it for a spin up the Pacific coast. When the machine breaks down he brings it to the shop listed in the owner’s manual—the closest place in California that can find the right part and repair the bike. It means three days of loafing at a rundown surfside motel, but that means three nights of getting under the skin—and with hopes, the clothes—of the lovely but disapproving owner of the yoga studio next door.

Erin Cassidy practices yoga to discipline her heart, mind, and body. But all three go wild in the presence of confident, charming, and much-too-handsome Knox Brannigan. She knows his type. He claims to be a part-time bartender but Erin’s sure that’s code for fun, flings, and never settling down. After being burned before, she set strict guidelines about the men she lets into her life. Knox, with his sexy smiles and laid-back attitude breaks every one of them. It’s only three days, she tells herself. If only they weren’t followed by those three steamy nights…

Knox has always been a man who takes his pleasures where and when he can find them and to hell with the rules. Yet when it comes to his feelings for Erin, he discovers he’s much more traditional than he ever imagined. It won’t take deep breathing or mindful meditation but only being in her arms to turn the rebel into a lover.

Knox (7 Brides for 7 Brothers #4)Knox by Christie Ridgway

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If there is one thing I've learned from Luke and Hunter it's that despite all the drama and the complicated history, love is there hiding in the shadows. Colin, may not have been an easy man to get to know, but he was an astute man when it came to his sons. His personal gifts show his true feelings and go toward healing the rift that his distance created with his family. In death, he succeeds at doing the one thing he couldn't in life. Becoming a good father. Knox, has witnessed Luke settle down. Gabe make a home and Hunter gain a sense of direction by confronting their pasts. While his brothers have open their hearts and found a place to belong, he feels even more alone than ever. Perhaps a precious gift and the open road will open his eyes to what's really important. Hope, heart, healing and family take center stage in the 7 Brides for 7 Brothers series. Faith is the belief that something bigger than us is guiding our journey. Each author in this series takes that to heart and with their distinctive voices allow us as readers to discover anything is possible with a a little hope and a whole lot of love.

Luke (7 Brides for 7 Brothers Book 1)Luke by Barbara Freethy

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Luke is a story of missed opportunities, wounded relationships and prideful behavior. All of these actions have played a part in the rift that exists between the powerful yet dysfunctional Brannigan family. Barbara Freethy begins this series with a story that is as therapeutic as it is heartbreaking. Colin Brannigan was not perfect and his actions had a profound impact on his Heirs. Facing his own mortality seemed to get him to look at the damage and in death create the legacy he was unable to rectify in life. The chance for his family to find happiness and absolution from the pain that he wrought upon them. Barbara Freethy was the ideal lead in for this spellbinding series. She knows how to appeal to emotions and get a reaction.

HUNTER (7 BRIDES FOR 7 BROTHERS) BY MELODY ANNE

Release Date:  November 8, 2016

SYNOPSIS

When Hunter Brannigan loses his father and is sent a map, he doesn’t know what to think. Is it a joke? Was the old man going senile at the end? The attorney sending the map assures him the piece of paper was definitely from his father and he must follow the clues to find himself.

Hunter has been running from anything even remotely resembling responsibility for a very long time. He’s a world renowned Photo Journalist, traveling the seven continents in pursuit of the next great shot. He’s been in the heart of the trauma during war time, natural disasters, and life-altering moments, always on the other side of the lens, never getting emotionally involved. His father’s last wish for him is to put himself within the pictures he’s famous for.

Deciding to humor his father’s last request, he stumbles upon Rebekah Kingsley III, an uptight History Professor who desperately needs to let her hair down. Though he has his doubts she can get dirty long enough to help him, something about her won’t let him walk so easily this time. Will she be enough to make him settle down, or will he leave her with nothing but a picture of what could have been

REVIEW:  HUNTER (7 BRIDES FOR 7 BROTHERS) BY MELODY ANNE

Hunter (7 Brides for 7 Brothers Book 3)Hunter by Melody Anne

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Melody Anne leaves her close knit family drama behind and brings on the dysfunction with Hunter. The Brannigans are stubborn, free spirited and proud. All that determination does not come with problems. With all the testosterone crowding this gene pool it's no wonder the family dynamic breeds chaos. But when tragedy strikes, can this group of loners mend fences and become a family? I have to say the concept of this series is genius. A dying man working to heal his broken family from the great beyond, if that's not love I don't know what is. Hunter has been so busy running from his past, he doesn't know what it means to embrace his future. With a little help from a surprising source, he may find the answers in the most unlikely of places. Within himself. An estranged family, some divine matchmaking and a chance at a new beginning makes for a temptation of the highest order.
