Release Date: July 11, 2017
SYNOPSIS
Quiet, reserved, Lady Ophelia Fletcher always has her nose stuck in a book; hence why she didn’t witness the death of her friend the fateful night of her passing. Now, she writes the Mayfair Confidential column to expose unsavory men as a way of making amends for not backing her other friend’s claims of murder. When a handsome stranger arrives to meet with her father, Ophelia is helpless to keep from investigating the dashing lord.
Colin Parnell, Lord Hawke, has a promise to uphold: find the book that proves his grandpapa worked as a spy for King George II and did not die as a no-good smuggler off the coast of Kent. Shrouded in mystery and scandal, the Parnell family has been at war with one another for decades, and Colin is determined to put a stop to it all by discovering proof of the family’s honorable past. Unfortunately, the book he seeks is in the hands of a fiery-haired beauty, and he’ll need to enlist Ophelia’s help to uncover the truth.
Ophelia is more than happy to use her skills to help Lord Hawke. But will their search for answers lead to misadventure, or will they get something greater than they bargained for: the truth and each other?

REVIEW: THE MISADVENTURES OF LADY OPHELIA (THE UNDAUNTED DEBUTANTES) BY CHRISTINA MCKNIGHT
The Misadventures of Lady Ophelia by Christina McKnight
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Christina McKnight has immense talent. The shining beacon of that gift is her ability to create great characters. Characters that stand out above and beyond the words on the page. Heroes and heroines that come alive with their personalities as they lead stories of courage and heart. The Misadventures of Lady Ophelia fits that mold. Ophelia has the distinction of being slightly bookish in personality but never lacking in heart. The death of a friend changed her life. Guilt drove her, but love saved her. That one event set her on a course that lead her to her soulmate and brought her out of her reserved shell and into the risky venture of life. The danger is not only in the mystery that pulls her deeper into the dark, but in the uncertainty that comes with listening to her heart. These Undaunted Debutantes are loyal, fierce and intoxicating. With the series as a whole Ms. McKnight not only conjured up a dynamic and captivating trio, she also spotlighted how beautiful it is to be unique.

REVIEW: THE MISFORTUNE OF LADY LUCIANNA (THE UNDAUNTED DEBUTANTES) BY CHRISTINA MCKNIGHT
The Misfortune of Lady Lucianna by Christina McKnight
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
What draws me to author Christina McKnight is one trait above all else. She doesn't write victims, she creates heroines. Her female leads are spirited individuals with the brains to fight for themselves instead of playing the damsel in distress. Of course, in the case of Lucianna that proved to be somewhat of a negative trait, because she lead with her heart instead of the facts. A painful tragedy has set her on a course that could prove to be her undoing. The Misfortune of Lady Lucianna is a story of survival that romances, intrigues and captivates.
