Driving Whiskey Wild

Driving Whiskey Wild - Melissa Foster

"Don't go after your sweetheart with your brawn, baby. Go after her with your heart. That's the biggest and best thing that sets you apart from every other tough guy out there." (Excerpt- Driving Whiskey Wild by Melissa Foster - Red & Bullet, a mother's heartfelt words to her son)

Not often do I stumble across the perfect words to describe my feelings, but Ms. Foster made it easy. With a limited amount of words, she summed up the enigma that is Brandon "Bullet" Whiskey. Bullet looked like a warrior, but he had the heart of a champion. I've read many Melissa Foster novels and although I have loved all of them, the Whiskeys are my favorite characters of hers. Why? This family proves that a good heart shouldn't be judged by how you look, but the things you do. The Whiskeys may look tough and at times act tough, but their greatest strength is their ability to love unconditionally. Bullet has to learn to trust his heart when he finds his soulmate. Finlay is his greatest weakness, but she could be his everlasting reward. Not many authors have a direct line to the heart, Melissa Foster has that gift and she does wonders with it.

Audiobook Review: Driving Whiskey Wild By: Melissa Foster (Author), Paul Woodson (Narrator)

Beauty tamed the beast or perhaps it's the other way around. Bullet and Finlay are reminder that true beauty comes from within. The gentle giant becomes the avenging angel for a wounded heart. Driving Whiskey Wild tends to be rough around the edges, but that proves to be it's most captivating asset.
