Forget sparks, Taking His Shot breathes fire. The master of foreplay is back to make hearts swoon and kick hormones into overdrive. Ryan continues to spice it up with her signature style of heat, emotions and humor to even out some of the heartache. Jodie and Harper make it hard to say goodbye, but remind me why I fell head over heart for these Hot Jocks along the way.

His tongue touches mine, and I barely register the feel of his warm fingers sinking into the hair at the back of my neck, because good Lord . . . Jordie’s tongue is doing all kind of magical things.
When we part, it feels like I’m in a daze.
He smiles. “That was—”
I cut him off by placing a finger on his lips. “Good night, Jordie,” I say with a smile.
I slip out of his truck, turning to wave good-bye when I reach my door. He pulls away, and I walk inside, my heart still galloping like crazy against my ribs.
Because that kiss?
